Another useless laptop from Asus that is too stubborn to understand their cooling design with partial obstructed vents can't be more efficient than a fully open vents design. But I guess you will need more than 60 IQ to realize that. Their "create pressure" logic has been demonstrated to be useless because their coolers are way to weak for that. I mean asus has a long history of not understanding physics.
What i think it happened here is Asus sabotaging their own line to make gamers buy their premium gaming laptop brands and not the TUF. Otherwise I can't believe a company can be that stupid.

did you receive any information regarding the IPS panel in Germany? Does it really only run 144Hz?
On the official german ASUS website, it is advertised with a 240Hz screen, and on the website of one of the biggest tech retailers (Saturn) in Germany the Hz is not mentioned in the product information.

Hey appreciate this review very much as I just got this laptop in India – model FA506QM-HN008TS with the RTX 3060. Unfortunately in my country the cheap Panda 144 Hz color-inaccurate panel is the only option. Except for the panel, this laptop is very good, no heating issues in every day use even on Turbo or Performance.
For heavy gaming, CPU encoding etc, if you just raise the laptop a little by keeping two USB flash drives below it on the two back corners, the temperature drops further by few degrees. Or you can just get an active or passive cooling pad.
No biometrics of any kind is always a massive disappointment for most gaming laptops but due to abundant USB ports, I can get a USB fingerprint sensor (since my mouse is always Bluetooth Low Energy anyway).
The SSD I got in my model is SK Hynix DRAM-less one. I wonder if an upgrade to SK Hynix P31 Gold 1 TB or a Samsung SSD improves the performance. Can anyone test that to see if it still throttles?
Finally I want to know if we can replace the panel somehow? It's not very bright either.
in theory, you could replace the display, but that might end your warranty

S3 Sleep of ACPI is just not implemented at all by ASUS at the firmware level. I would say this is its biggest problem/flaw which UltrabookReview failed to mention

Asus is happy to keep your laptop and repair it unless you are out of warranty irrespective of whether you are able to use it or not. So it this value for money. Did i pay for this laptop so i can work on it or purchased for repairs etc..
